Hi, I have a problem with several hundred machines basically i need to
identify which ones have office 2003 sp2 already on so i can target the
rest for a remote update. I can scan the machines but I cant find a
unique file which is relevant only to SP2, the version number of the
files doesnt help as they change as security patches are installed as
does the file size. Even Help about doesnt help as it seems if you
install visio or project and install SP2 for that product excel.exe
then displays SP2 when in fact its not
Any ideas gratefully accepted
