Dear All,

Windows XP Pro SP2 English
Office 2003 Pro English

Now that SP3 Is Out for Office 2003, do I have to install first the
SP2 (That comes with the original product) and later SP3? or can I
installl only SP3 and destroy my SP2 CD? LOL

Please let me know

TIA

SP3 is cumulative, which means that it includes fixes released in SP1
and SP2. But don't throw out your SP2 CD yet, just in case SP3 causes
problems in your situation and you want to go back to the previous SP level.

While I am not sure SP3 is the culprit, I had a problem with Outlook
immediately after installing the update. I was able to isolate it as a
corrupted .pst file, which had been fine before the update. Once I replaced
the file with an archived copy, Outlook began to work again.

So...keep an eye on SP3!

Just curious...did you have any SQL Server software on your system
when you experienced this problem?

Funny you should ask. I did not install anything (that I knew of), but when
I run MS Update, "SQL Feature Pack" shows up as an as an item under "Select
By Product".

I do not use SQL, though.
