Office 2003 SP2 products crashes when insert images

Hi,
I have the followinfg problem:
when I want to insert an image inside my Word, Excel, Powerpoint documents
doing from menu'/Insert/Image/From File
, the application crashes with this error (this is winword):

If I insert the image from Explorer with drag&drop all is working.
My computer is clean (no spyware, viruses, etc....).
My OS is WinXP Pro SP2 italian
Anyone can help me ?
