Office 2003 SP2 - ReReleased?

G

Gerry Hickman

Hi,

Someone on a Windows Software Update Services (WSUS) newsgroup claims
that a new version of Office 2003 SP2 has been posted to their server.

Seems unlikely, but has anyone else heard anything about this?

NO; I hope it is not April 1st already in UK?

When a patch is released, the name changes. From Service Pack 2 would
become Service Pack 2a etc etc.

Hi,
NO; I hope it is not April 1st already in UK?

Well Microsoft newsgroups are worldwide...
When a patch is released, the name changes. From Service Pack 2 would
become Service Pack 2a etc etc.

Have a look at newsgroup

microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services

on 27/02/06, the post from "George" and the reply. I was going to copy
and paste it here, but I'd lose the header info.

If you are talking about THE George Hester then you have answered your
own question. He is a known troll and people who knows him well try to
avoid anything posted by him!!.
