Office 2003 SP3 and 2007 SP1 - Is it bug?

Hi Guys,

On my New PC, I installed Vista Ultimate SP1 and later Office 2007 Ultimate
SP1. Both OS and Office 2007 were done using the SP1 integrated Discs.
After few days, the Windows Update is showing the following items in the
list:

1) Office 2003 SP3
2) Office 2007 SP1

Why is it showing Office 2003, when I don't have this product installed on
my PC. And why is it showing Office 2007, when I have already installed
Office 2007 SP1?

Is this a bug or known issue?

Thanks & Regards,
Kamlesh

Hi Kamlesh,

MS doesn't have product CDs with Service Packs included for Office.
Check in the Programs section of the Windows Control panel to see if there are any 2003 products listed (Powerpoint viewer, Word
viewer, Web controls etc).
