Office 2003 SP3 and new Excel Viewer

After installing Office 2003 SP3, there was new Updates for Office 2003 on
Microsoft Updates
1. New Junk Mail Filters
2. New Word Viewer for SP3

So I looked for more Viewer updates manually and found one for Excel. It
did not show up on Office Updates or Microsoft Updates. Here is the link

When I try to install it gives this error 'The expected version of the
product was not found on your system'. This is a very minor problem as I
don't have an Excel Viewer installed but wanted to know if was just me.
This is the older viewer location. The file size seems to be the same.

Greetings Greg,

Junk Mail Filter is separated from our SP at this moment. We do updates for
the filter every month and we kept it that way.
On terms of the viewers, the SP3 for the viewers are in a different package
that the main Office SP3 so that is why word does show up.
For XL viewer failure, that is expected since like you said, you are trying
to install the SP3 patch on top of the viewer that you do not have. To make
this successfull you need to install the RTW version of the XL Viewer at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...f4-996c-4569-b547-75edbd03aaf0&displaylang=EN.

Hope this helps

Ok, it just seemed like the new viewer for Excel should work alone. So now I have keep both the original viewers and the SP3 ones.
