Office 2003 (student ed) isnt recognised by Vista.How 2 install?

I have bought a new computer with vista pre-installed. When I insert the CD
rom that came with Office 2003 (Student Edition) there is a bit of whirring
but no dialogue box appears as it should to begin istallation. On exploring
the net I see I am not alone with this problem but I can't find out how to
overcome it.Any ideas please.

If you open the CD in Windows Explorer, you should see a file called
setup.exe. Double-click on it to start the install.
