Don't think I'd waste my time or money on them. (I have a feeling that MT
Guru is tied to that business.)

I looked up Office Pro 2003 and it states:

"Microsoft Office Professional 2003 - Retail Box
The word "Academic" is imprinted on the box, however this software is 100%
genuine and can legally be used for both commercial and educational use."

That throws up all kinds of caution flags for me.

Time to actually pay for the software. I would recommend buying it from
Amazon.com (it'll save you a few bucks).

And me as well since it is authorized to be sold only through Academic institutions and then to qualifying students. Any such sales that say "CD Only" or "OEM" or "Academic" from an online source I would stay half a world away from.

REPUTABLE dealers do not need to put disclaimers on their merchandise.

Mike

Dear All
Thanks for comments BUT I did pay for the student version and it says on the
box ok for 3 computers. It is a 'proper' version from a major UK on line
retailer. Cane through the post in a proper box with a proper microsft disk.
I have not made illegal copies nor used it on more than 3 machines
Any more ideas or have I been robbed by someone?
Mike

This is a new copy of office 2003; legal; ok to put on 3 machines (see office
website); but it appears it is an activation problem. But to activate you go
to HELP ACTIVATE - this does not appear to work?? Any further ideas?
Thanks
Mike
