Hello,
I've been trying to update my Office 2003 SP1 for days now and I'm getting
totally frustrated
. I've been reading through these threads and evend
tried all the suggestions on several including cleaning files, cookies, etc,
removing the office update folder, checking services etc.
Here is what the log shows on my latest attempt to get office to update
(sorry I copied it all it's rather long)

Now I do have a purchased copy of office 2003 and I've even uninstalled it
twice and reinstalled it twice. I tried repairing XP too that wasn't the
problem.
Any suggestions of what I can do now? (short of blowing up the computer and
starting over again. A reformat would wipe out over 3 years of work and I
really wouldn't be a happy camper then)

Now I do have a purchased copy of office 2003 and I've even uninstalled it
twice and reinstalled it twice. I tried repairing XP too that wasn't the
problem.
Any suggestions of what I can do now? (short of blowing up the computer and
starting over again. A reformat would wipe out over 3 years of work and I
really wouldn't be a happy camper then)
