Office 2003 Updates Failing

I have Office Professional 2003 on my computer but the following updates are
failing.
Update for Office 2003 (KB907417)
Error details: Code 57E
Security Update for Microsoft Office Excel 2003 (KB943985) v2
Error details: Code 57E
Security Update for Microsoft Office 2003 (KB947355)
Error details: Code 57E
Security Update for Microsoft Office Publisher 2003 (KB946254)
Error details: Code 57E
Security Update for Microsoft Works Suite 2005 (KB943973)
Error details: Code 57E
Security Update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (KB945432)
Error details: Code 57E
Update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB947944)
Error details: Code 57E
Security Update for Office 2003 (KB945185)
Error details: Code 57E
Update for Outlook 2003 (KB943649)
Error details: Code 57E

I have tried to do a repair of my installation and come to an error prompt
saying that unable to write to registry verify permissions or contact
microsoft????

Try the following and let us know if it worked.


1st Rename Office subkeys

Note: Removing the following registry keys may reset customized user
settings for your Microsoft Office programs.

1. Close all the applications.
2. Click on Start->Run, type in REGEDIT and click on OK.
3. Locate and select the following registry subkeys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0

4. Right click on 11.0 and rename them to Old11.
5. Close the Registry Editor.

2nd. Detect and Repair Office 2003


1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start, point to and click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. Click Change/Remove Programs on the left pane.
4. Highlight Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 on the right pane
and click Change.
5. Insert the correct version of CD when it requires.
6. Select “Reinstall and Repair†and click Next.
7. Select “Detect and Repair errors in my Office installationâ€.
8. Click Install and wait the process to end.

3rd. Install the Updates

I am still getting:
Error 1406. Setup cannot write the value to the rigistry key
\CLSID\{13DE4A42-8D21-4C8E-BF9C-8F69CB068FCA}. Verify that you have
sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact your Information
Technology department for assistance.

If I click ignore this one follows:
Error 1406. Setup cannot write the value to the rigistry key
\CLSID\{F0291081-E87C-4E07-97DA-A0A03761E586}. Verify that you have
sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact your Information
Technology department for assistance.

Updates still failed.
