Office 2003 updates

I have just re-installed XP Pro with sp2. I also installed Office 2003. I
went to both Windows Update and Office Update and performed all the updates.
When I installed Norton 2005 and tried again to do an Office Update, the
update scanner doesnt work. I have turned off BOTH Nortons new Firewall
(Internet Worm Protection) and Windows Firewall and the updates still dont
work.

Any suggestions?

Does the detection start and then fail or does it not load at all? Make
sure you are not seeing the gold Internet Explorer bar at the top of the
screen asking to install the activeX control.
