Office 2003 upgrading to 2007 ? Outlook

I have just purchased a OFFICE Home & Student 2007. If I install it to
replace my existing Office 2003 small business OEM product, will I lose the
Outlook program which does not appear to be included in the new Home &
Student 2007 product?

Yes I was wondering the same thing too spiderRog. Got Office 2003 and just
about to install "Office 2007 Home & Student" - but want to keep that Outlook
2003.
So does the installation process of "Office 2007 Home & Student" give you
the option of keeping Outlook 2003 while overwriting Word 2003 etc - or is it
best to completely uninstall Office 2003 first - and then reintstall the
Outlook 2003 component after you've installed "Office 2007 Home & Student"?

H&S will not uninstall anything that it does not have, e.g., Excel, Word and PowerPoint from Office 2003 will be removed, nothing else, when you choose the upgrade option.

We recently had to rebuild our hard drive, so I reinstalled our Office 2003,
then upgraded to the Student 2007, but I can no longer find the old Outlook.
Why would it have gone away?

Did you do a Custom Install and select Outlook when you were installing Office 2003
