Office 2003 VBA Help will not install

R

rzernow

I have a site license for Office Pro 2003. I've installed it many time
on many systems. I always choose the custom options and make sure I ad
the VBA Help option. I have one system (Win XP SP2 on a new Del
Latitude D810) in which everything appears to load, but when I click o
a VBA item in the help screen, nothing happens. I've tried this fro
within the Excel Visual Basic environment and the Word Visual Basi
Environment.

I've tried detect and repair, I've tried removing the feature the
reinstalling it, I've searched for help all over Microsoft's knowledg
base, many forums, etc. all without success. I find many references t
people that did not know they had to specifically install the help file
but nothing on people that have properly installed the option yet i
will not work.

Your help and insite would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Richard,

If you locate VBAOF11.CHM and VBAWD10.CHM in the
Office11 folder can you double click on them in
Windows Explorer and have them open successfully?

If so, you may want to use the Windows Installer
Cleanup utility on Office 11 then do a reinstall/recache.
