Office 2003 Where did the Favorites button go from the Save As win

In earlier versions of Office, when selecting File > Save As, in the window
that was displayed, one of the buttons on the left was Favorites, which
displayed IE Favorites when selected. In Office 2003, this button doesn't
exist. Is there a way to configure Office so that Favorites is an option
from the Save As command?

Are you talking about the My Places bar (which lists: My Computer, My Documents, etc.)?

I think so, although it's not referred to as a My Places bar on my pc. The
window is titled Save As, and has Save in: below that. It lists (in Outlook
2003) My Recent Documents, Desktop, My Documents, My Computer and My Network
Places.
