Office 2003 can preloaded on my Dell laptop. I have
completed the registration steps.
1. Word (and Excel so similar behavior)
When I open Word I get a title bar that reads
Document38 - Microsoft Word
or some number from 1 to XX. Even though I have not had
Word open and therefore there are no other Word documents
open. Why the number great than 1, and should I be
concerned or have I missed setting something up properly?
2. Word - I have a Word or Excel document open and go to
close that document (or window ) but not the application.
In the upper right hand corner (but below the X to close
Word), I click on the X next to the Type a question for
Help field and it close both the doc and the application.
What are I missing in being able to just close the doc and
not the application?
