Office 2003 Word

I just upgraded my OS to XP and I upgraded to Office
2003. I have had so many strange things going on. I don't
have Word running, but I will get a pop-ups saying an
error occured in Word and it will have to close. And even
when I uncheck the box for it not to restart - it does
anyway over and over. Does anyone have any idea what may
be going on here.
