Sorry I'm a bit new to asking questions here, not even sure I am in the right
place??
Office 2003 trial has expired and when I tried Add/remove I got the

I see some stuff on this error when I Google it. It involves deleting a
registry key but I don't see it specifically for office, only some other
programs. Perhaps the only solution without knowing the registry key is to
install office 2007 which should overwrite 2003, and then uninstall that.

Thanks HangedMan, I have just stumbled on "Windows Install Cleanup" which
fixed it in a click. Just a learner here so not sure I would be up to playing
about with registry key!!Many thanks anyway.

That's been a common problem. Let me see if I can find an answer.........
Try downloading the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility from
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=290301 and install it. Use the utility to
delete the Windows Installer registry entry for Office 2003.

one click, just a begginer here, so not sure I would be up to playing about
