Some people (arguably incorrectly) use the term "download" when they mean
"install." Not everyone's a techie.

Not saying that's the case here, but it rarely hurts to avoid jumping to
conclusions.

hard drive. She doesn't seem to get the words save and load, open and
close, install and uninstall... or upload.

Getting any kind of technical info from her requires several more
questions than usual because "I was downloading something." has a few
more implications than it should...

And if you ask her what she was doing on the machine at the time of
the crash.... Then it gets really complicated :)
