Hi I Was wondering if anyone can help me.
Im not very good with computors.
I installed office 2003 when I first got my computor, its worked
brilliantley for 4 years.
All of a sudden its stopped,and says preparing to install when I try to use
it.It then says it requires an installation SKU017.CAB could not be found.
If I could find my original disk I would try to re-install it ,but hence
after moving house and having 3 darling children it cant be found anywhere,
please someone help. Thanks Karen

You better find it or sooner or later you will have to buy a new copy.
Do you even have the Product Key?

You need your disks. Did Office come preinstalled on your computer or did
you buy it separately?

You really need to replace the original media:

I did find in the following article that the SKU017.CAB is the FrontPage
source. Do you get the error with all of the Office apps?

Yes I wrote the key down I still have that , just no disks

Hi I bought it seprate i still have the key but no disk

You can borrow the disk from someone that has the same kind you had and
use your product key with that. Probably a good idea to copy the disk as
well for any future install.

everyone I know has 2007 but i dont like it i prefer 2003

Well, then, you're screwed. No disk, no install. Maybe Open Office will
