before i buy the upgrade just two questions:
1. if you receive a word document with an embedded powerpoint or pdf
file, can you open it buy dubble clicking it?
2. if you can't open the ppt slide, can you now save the file on disk
and then open it?
3. can you add a full ppt file - not only a slide as a picture - to a
word document?

Only for image files, not for powerpoint

You can send feedback to the developers on this issue. Use the last menu
item under the 'Help' menu - "Send Feedback on Word". This message will go
directly to the developers. The more people that request this feature the
more likely it is to be implemented.
