Office 2004 install

I've used every version of Office MS has produced and before that Word, Excel
etc in whatever form MS had available. I have Office 2004 (and many of its
predecessors) installed on my eMac. I just bought a MacBook Pro which comes
with a test version of Office 2004. Do I have to pay for it all over again or
can I use the Office 2004 disks from my eMac? Thank you.

If the Office 2004 disks from your eMac are OEM versions,
then you cannot transfer or install that Office 2004 program
to a different computer as the license is non-transferable.

Mercy,

The ID# will have the letters OEM in it. That's how you can tell. You will
have to contact the manufacturer if you are having problems with it. It is
not a Microsoft problem.
