Hi Faith,

It does NOT. Mac Office contains Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Entourage
(which is an email/calendar/organizer program similar to Outlook).
Access does not exist for the Mac (and neither do Publisher, Project,
Visio, and probably some other Windows Office programs).

What did you want Access for?

If you just need to create your own database, there are many options.
Some database programs on the Mac--FileMaker Pro, Panorama, the simple
database module in AppleWorks, and several others.

If you need to be able to use a database that is already in Access,
searching the archives of this group will give you some more information
on possibilities.

Daiya,
Thank you so much for an answer. At least now I know. I need to have
Access for a computer class I'm taking at college.

Hmm. That's going to require Windows. You might need to do those
assignments in the computer lab, or borrow a friend's computer.

If it is worth investing some money and some time, it is possible to run
Windows on your Mac. If you have a new IntelMac, the most common
solution right now seems to be installing Parallels as a virtual
emulator, then you can install Windows into Parallels, then Access.
There's quite a lot of information here:
http://www.macwindows.com/winintelmac.html
http://www.parallels.com/

With an older non-Intel Mac, the route would be install Virtual PC, then
Windows, then Access.
