I purchased

Microsoft Office 2007 Small Business Edition with Office 200
Professional Trial Edition (OEM

This is with a brand new computer. I don't want the Professional and
uninstalled the Microsoft Access since that is the part that th
software says is under "trial". No matter what I seem to do, it asks i
I want to buy Professional every time I open Word, Excel, Outlook o
Publisher (components of Small Business Edition). Is there a way to ge
it to stop popping up? Is there something else that I need to uninstall

Thanks

Use Custom installation and install only the SBE Edition and not the Trial of Office
2--7 Professional.

You now need to uninstall everything associated with Office including the SBE and
the Trial and the Activation Wizard and start new again using the custom install
option and following what I posted above

You have to uninstall the complete Trial version, together with activation
assistant, reboot, prior to installing your paid for version

I would uninstall any and all versions of Office shown in add/remove
dialogue together with activation assistant and reboot, then check Office
has been uninstalled, if it has install your paid for version.

However if you are unable to uninstall, as this is a brand new PC, it would
probably be simpler to recover your PC to factory spec, then run MS Update,
once all updates have been installed, then uninstall the trial together with
activation assistant, reboot, then install paid for version

Thanks. Reinstalling seems to have fixed the problem. I was convinced
that there was some permanent piece that was going to pop up forever, I
probably should have tried that prior to asking the question.
