Office 2007 - After Installation Programs Do Not Run

...and no error messages.

Home and Student Edition 2007 successfully completes installation on a
Windows XP system. However, when I go to click on Word or Excel any
programs.. nothing happens. NO error messages nothing.

Any thoughts? Solutions?

Go to Start | Control Panel | Add-Remove Programs | MS Office. Click the
Change button and then Repair.
