Nico Mouton

Hi there,

i have installed Office 2007 Pro Plus on Windows Vista Rc2. When i open any
office app the installer screen comes up and then the configuration screen
pops up and does it thing. this happens everytime i open an office app, as
if it thinks it was just installed.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem please.

Thanx,

Nico

Office 2007 does not like pre-RTM Vista installations.

Not sure what pre-RTM means, but I am having the same problem. Purchased new
computer on 5 Feb 07 with Vista commercial installed. Downloaded Office 2007
this past weekend and every time I open Word or Excel, it runs configuration.
PowerPoint seems to work fine, and Excel gives me a .dbl error. I have
tried reinstalling, repairing, changing (to ensure I am set to "run from my
computer" as MS tech support advised me)...and nothing has worked. Is there
a workaround for this?

Pre-RTM means the versions before the final released versions.
