Office 2007 Automatic updates fail

I have Office 2007 installed and would like to know if there is an automatic
update capability using WINDOWS UPDATE. The system performs regular
automatic updates but but updates for word fail. Doing so manually works
after accepting terms and conditions for each update. If windows update can
not update WORD 2007, why even try? I have windows VISTA HOME PREMIUM.

Any suggestions?????

Also, doing the update manually is NOT reflected in "WINDOWS UPDATE HISTORY".
