Office 2007 b2 compatibility problems

Hi.

I have been using Office 2007 b2 to create files in Excel and Word an
save them as 2003 *.doc versions. When i try to open these files i
Office 2003 some of them open just fine while others open in strang
characters. It is not a matter of font or something like that sinc
pics, tables etc don't show up either.
I need help asap pls..
