Office 2007 beta 2 french installation does'nt work

the downloaded exe-file of office professional plus 2007 french beta doesn't
work. after clicking, nothing happens.

I've got same problem with french edition.
Visio work great, but nothing with office

After a test with winrar, the message was "corrupt archive".
I think that's the problem, I hope Microsoft will find a solution soon.

I agree...because the installation of OPP in english works

with Service Pack 2 installed in order to install the French version
of Office 2007.

I have Microsoft's Windows XP Professional SP2 German version:

- German Office 2007 version does not install,

- English Office 2007 version *is* installed (but not activated),

- French Office 2007 version does not install.

So?

I have the same problem.

i can't install the german version...
i think the archive on the Server is corrupt...

I think the archives on the server are corrupt.
the overview page states the filesize of 550 MB - the download is onle
approx 488 MB in filesize. I downloaded twice. the same.

May be it could become from the declaration of language between Office and
Windows XP...

My windows is in french, and the problem is the same.

Hi,

I've Windows XP Pro SP2 French release installed on my computer.
I download the French release for Office 2007 Pro, and I was unable to
install it.
I try to use Winrar in order to unzip the file, and I get a corrupt file
error message.
Nevertheless I try to launch the setup.exe installer and I get an error
message about inapropppriate language version.

Word is they're working on it. I don't know a specific ETA, so I'd try again
tomorrow (or later today, depending where in the world you are <g>) to be on
the safe side.

The French download had apparently become corrupted. It should now be fixed (when starting the download watch the 'should be' vs
'actual' download size to see if they're in agreement, but there isn't a way to fix it without a fresh download.
