I currently run WindowsXP and Office XP for Students/Teachers. I have a copy
of Office 2003 professional that came with my new laptop. I decided I wanted
to upgrade so I decided I would give the beta version of office 2007 a try.
I downloaded the install, started installing, it appeared to almost finish,
then just froze. So, I tried cancelling it and just then installing the disc
of Office professional 2003 I have. It then told me I had a suspended
installation of Beta and asked me if I wanted to have it removed. I clicked
yes. I thought this was going to fix whatever was going on. Well, Office
2003 install got to the point of "writing system registry values" and also
froze (twice) and now I can't get any office product to work or install. Can
anyone help me?
