Office 2007 beta... How long?

So, I've installed Office 2007 beta. To give it a fair go I'm planning to
use it exclusively.

What I'd like to know is, since this is beta, will the programs installed
stop working after a certain date, or after a certain amount of time?

Yes, it is a time-bombed version. It's set to convert to a viewer in
February.

Yeah but in feb there will be some trial version for 60-90 days and you can
use that. So effectively it should be till arpil

You are making some major assumptions. Plus if there is a trial version, it
will NOT be the same as the beta. This means an uninstall of one, an install
of the other, and then when that trial version expires, you are left with a
viewer - again.

Seems like a royal pain in the butt.

If we were using Outlook Express before the Beta, can we move our emails and
address book back to OE from Outlook 2007 ?

I suggest you try the move to OE now, before you get too many e-mails
and discover the "move" doesn't work the way you envision.
