Office 2007 Beta install w/Office 2003

Can I install 2007B2 in poarallel w/Office 2003, or will the beta overwrite
my 03 install? I want to test 07 but still have 03 to use for production work.

Please repost your inquiry in the appropriate
Office beta newsgroup only authorized Office
beta testers can access. If you are not an authorized
Office beta tester, you should not be attempting
to install or use Office beta products.

A separate partition is recommended when installing multiple versions
for user support reasons and avoid Outlook. Of course you realize if
something goes south, you are on your own? Now, how important is your
production work on this particular PC?

That's exactly why I haven't participated in the beta. I am not ready to
screw up my system. (I have another system but I need to get some RAM for
it. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow. I really want to try out the new
Publisher.)

The public beta was just released today, Carey.

It's sad that Microsoft can't get the whole notion of "Side by Side" to work
with their own programs.

Side by side with Production software and Betas? I think Microsoft has it
exactly right.

Office 2007 beta is not supposed to be run on a production system. I am
running more than one version of Office on my computer with no problems, as
are many others. It's the *beta* part that's tricky.

Point taken.

Still, it seems to me that beta applications (at least stable ones this late
in the dev cycle) would benefit from people trying them out on a
side-by-side scenerio. A nice-to-have is all, I guess.

Not at this point. Remember, they are still almost a year away from release.
