Office 2007 Beta Install

Hi,
I have Office 2000 on my PC. Will the Installer update my current version or
will it install a separate copy of the new version?

You will have the choice of upgrading or keeping your existing office and
install in another partition/drive..If you upgrade you will need to
uninstall it and reinstall your office 2000 when the beta expires in
January. Also note the beta may save your valuable files in a format that
may not be backward compatible with 2000. Lots of issues to think about!

Based on what most MVPs around here have said on this matter, don't install
it unless you are doing it on a machine that you don't mind getting messed
up.

If you are installing on a PC that is important to you and is used in a
productive way then stay away from the beta..

So proceed at your own risk
