Office 2007 Beta: "Save as" option gone?

C

I spend the $1.50 for the Office 2007 beta to check it out.

Eventually I got a newsletter from Microsoft with a link to download the
"tech refresh". After installing the update, it seems programs like excel
and wordpad lost the "save as" option.

I'm cursing myself because I had office 2003 on an OEM installation which I
have lost the disk for. Now nobody can open my documents. Is there anything
I can do?

If, like me, you use Save As frequently, you could also "customise the quick
access toolbar" by clicking on its down arrow then adding Save As to it.

Thanks for the tip. I had actually done exactly that when I first installed
the program.

After I did the update, I didn't see it anywhere on the list.
