Hi. My computer is running office 2007 Beta 2.0 Pro + and I am syncing to my
PPC HP Ipaq 4700 using AS 4.2. I am not getting any errors in Office nor on
my PPC however I am noticing that when I sync I am not getting the "notes"
information in my Task showing up on my PPC. I am also finding this with the
Appointment that I have notes in also.
I am wondering if the problem is because when you look at the notes section
of Task and Appointments the "text" is not starting on the very top line of
the box (it is as if it has missed a line) and as such the sync is formated
to pick up that top line in Office and because text is not there I am not
able to sync the information. if it was formated to pick up the second line
maybe it would work.
You can look at Task in office Beat and see where you have Subject and then
Notes showing on the same screen that where you have text in your notes (this
is for new entries and not task that have copies over through an upgrade) it
is not showing in notes however if you double click on the task it shows all
the text is there.
Help please, I know it is a Beta but this seem to be a simple "field"
problem that is affecting sync data.
