I get the activation error discused previously.
"...the activation was unable to find a connection the the internet"

Any new ideas.

Hi access...

Lots of ppl are having the same problem. It seems server load is the
problem.
However if you are using proxy it might be a permanenet problem.
I too .. yet to find a solution :(

Hi Madhur,

The server load issues for Activation have been resolved. One common cause of the issue now is having a firewall or other
security/proxy product not authorizing the activation wizard to access the internet to complete the activation.

i have not been able to get this to work either. i have a corp client that
may have some security/firewall sw that is prohibiting this from activating.
even when i disable vpn and blackice i am still not able to activate. is
there a way to look in some of the system log files to see which sw is
preventing this app from activating(since i dont' know everything that IT
installed on this PC).

"Internet connection Not found Error"

The Activation Wizard cannot detect proxy settings, and will not ask
for the suername and password.

Please help !!

Hi Bob,

I'm still having problems even after uninstalling my firewall, and by
ensuring the MS firewall in XP is turned off. I am not behind a proxy,
either.

Apparently, there's more to it than user software.

Any other suggestions?

Did you get any update from Microsoft about this major bug ?
It is very diificult to test a product if we can only launch suite 49 times.
