I have two laptops - one is a big desktop replacement and the other is my
travel computer. Can I download Office 2007 on to both? Thanks!

Interesting question. If the one laptop is used *only* as a desktop
you'd be within the intent (but not the letter) of the EULA. I think
you'll have to let your conscience be your guide on this one.

Actually, it doesn't say "desktop". This is was the retail version says:

2. INSTALLATION AND USE RIGHTS. Before you use the software under a
license, you must assign that license to one device. That device is the
"licensed device." A hardware partition or blade is considered to be a
separate device.
a. Licensed Device. You may install and use one copy of the software on the
licensed device.
b. Portable Device. You may install another copy on a portable device for
use by the single primary user of the licensed device.
