Office 2007 deployment on Terminal Server 2003 R2

K

Karim Virani

I noticed that the TS deployment recommendations in the 2007 Office Resource
Kit is not published yet:

"TBD: Deploy the 2007 Office system in a Windows Terminal Services
environment"
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Offic...2d4c-476b-8b03-0d11cc8fbc771033.mspx?mfr=true

Anybody know when this will be done? Is this an indicator that not all is
well with TS deployment of 2007?

I have a beefy new Windows Server 2003 R2 TS box and I have a VLK version of
the Office suite and all required licenses. I'd just like to follow
published recommended deployment practices.

Thanks,

Karim

Thanks, but that page is the root of the resource kit documentation which
I've already been through and which leads to the TBD link I referenced.
Still no info specifically about Terminal Server deployment.

Hi Karim,

That portion of the MS Office 2007 Resource Kit should be available sometime in February (sigh). The section on Outlook 2007 on
Terminal Services is (sort of) there <g>
