Office 2007 Installation error: specified subkey is longer ?

Hi,

Please help me if you know and have experienced similar situation like below:
I have tried to install Office 2007 Home and Student Version, but it always
crashes after I entered Product Key and chose "Install Now" " or after
finishing the "Customize"

I could not find any solution in Google for the error log. FYI, I was a
OneNote2007 beta user and uninstalled it already

The error log said something like this:
Determining ARP entry registry values.
Error: ORegistryKey.OpenSubKey failure: Cannot open sub key in registry key
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\". The length of the specified subkey is longer than the
maximum length allowed Type: InvalidArgument.

I previously tried OneNote 2007 beta, and uninstalled it, so I thought the
"not-so-clean" uninstallation was the problem.
I have tried cleaning my registry according to :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218

And I have used a program called Myuninst, I saw some entries for Microsoft
Proofing 2007 from OneNote, Word, Excel, etc, however I could not uninstall
it (Ctrl+u), so I just removed the entries (Ctrl+Del).

As reference, I am attachingi the error log contents.
