Office 2007 Installation Error

Hello,

My computer currently runs Windows XP Professional.

I have recently purchased the MS-Office suite 2007.

When trying to Install ACCESS-2007 on the above computer I get the following
error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error

Program c:\Windows\System32\Msiexec.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
*****

The installation terminated after this.

I receive the same error when I try to Install MS-VISIO or MS-PROJECT.

Any assistance in resolving this problem is much appreciated.
