Office 2007 ---Outlook does not delete mail

I use Outlook 2007 on a Desktop and a Laptop as my main mail client. When I
recieve an email it comes to me just fine in Outlook. When I delete it in
Outlook its gone, but when I sign into MSN or Hotmail via the interent there
they are, all the one I have already read. Is there a setting In Outlook to
where when you delete it, it updates the server and removes it. I also use
Microsoft Outlook Connector.

Any advice will help
