Office 2007 & PhotoDraw 2000v2

Hi, I've installed 2007 Pro Plus Beta 2 onto my XP x64 desktop, where
previously I had Office 2000 & Word 2003 installed.

I use PhotoDraw 2000v2 as my primary graphics editor, and wish to continue
doing so, having bought and activated it etc.

However, now that 2007 is installed, PhotoDraw will no longer save files as
anything but .mix files - which renders the programme very nearly useless.

Any suggestions for a fix? Or is this just something of which MS needs to be
aware in order to correct for the release?

Many Thanks

have you tried to repair the installation?

Yes - multiple repairs and reinstalls of both PD and 2007 have failed to help

Hi Dan,

MS is aware that this happens, and you may want to use the link below to also post in the MS Office Photodraw newsgroup. At this
point I'm not aware of a fix for it with the 2007 beta. My guess is that Office 2007 uses a newer version of a common file that
Photodraw 2000 doesn't see as a problem, so it doesn't know it's broken.

Hi Dan,

You can send feedback on Office 2007 issues directly to the MS Office Product team using the 2007 feedback tool from the link below.
Be sure to include screenshots and a description of how this will impact your daily work.

Ok, I've posted this over in PhotoDraw territory, but also want anyone

I've set up a petition asking MS for a hotfix to this issue - please spread
the word and get as many people as possible to sign:
