Office 2007 PreReq's & a Stupid Viking

Not sure whether it is caffeine deprivation or general stupidity (both have
been known to happen) , but I am deeply bewildered. I am trying to figure
out what the prerequisites are for Office 2007. I read in one place that
Offcie 2003 is required and in another makes no mention of it being
necessary.

Can I install Office 2007 if I am running only Office 2000?

Thank you. So I assume from this the quote below that I can download &
install Office 2007 when all I have is Office 200.

"When upgrading from Microsoft Office 2003 to the 2007 release you should
not need to upgrade your hardware, although you may need to upgrade to a
supported operating system. When upgrading from Microsoft Office 2000 or
Office XP to the 2007 release you will need to ensure that your hardware and
operating system meet the minimum 2007 Microsoft Office system requirements."

So assuming that I now understand this corrrectly - and at the risk of
making myself look even more mentally deficient - where on the Office 2007
page can I find the download. I already have my activation code - just need
something to activate.

Hmm... maybe my brain would be a good start.... ;-}

Hi Hagar,

On http://microsoft.com/office/preview click the 'Get the Beta' link in the center of the page, or in the left side navigation bar
for the Downloads area.
