Office 2007 Pro Activation/Installation on two systems

After reading the posts, it seems it will be ok to install on both my
laptop and desktop from one retail version of the software, correct?
While I was an IT guy for a decade or so, I've been out of the loop
for a few years and activation is new to me. I bought O '07 to install
on my desktop following a rebuild. Since then, I've bought a laptop
and prior to any install, I want to make sure I can do the install on
both systems.
Following the first activation, will I encounter any issues when it
comes time for the second activation?

You will probably have to use the telephone activation option and explain
the situation to a live person.

Are you saying this from experience or ...? I'm asking because you say
probably.

I've never had to call my activation in for the same reason you mention.
Trying to activate that product key within a certain time frame will trigger
a message that it's already in use. I don't know what that time frame is but
I suspect it's at least several months if not years.

I say probably because there are few things in life that are 100% certain
other than death and taxes.
