Office 2007 Pro Crashes Vista

Hi,
I'm trying to get Office 2007 Pro to install. It crashes windows explorer in
vista everytime. The disc is readable in a command window. I have no previous
beta versions of 2007. I tried turning autoplay off... no good. I tried
running it on an XP machine and setup starts right up, no problems. I made a
duplicate CD on the XP machine to test the duplicated install disc on Vista.
same problem... explorer crash.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Is this and upgrade from Windows XP? I would ask you do a repair of the vista
during startup by putting in the Vista disk. Even a clean install would be
helpful.

Yes it was an upgrade. It seems it is a problem with autorun. I copied all
files off the disk onto a SD card without the autorun file on another XP
machine. Popped it into Vista and ran setup. Works. I'll have to try and run
a repair anyway just to see if I can fix the autorun feature.
