Office 2007 Professional installation failed

I am trying to install Office 2007 pro from the download and as soon as it
starts it says the installation failed with no ither information. I searched
the group, but didn't find anything other than the same error related to the
Beta version. This is the commercial download.

Hi Mark,

If you're installing on Windows XP one of the most common reasons is a 'goofed' download. On Windows Vista, creating a CD image
from the download using Nero can cause this as well.
