office 2007 removal

We got a compaq as a gift with Vista & Office 2007 Trial on it. We also have
a pc with XP and Office 2003. Both are on the same network, yet they wont
communicate between the two office versions. I want to remove the 2007 from
the compaq, have tried, but get a message saying the language of this program
does not allow removal. So basically I cant get rid of this piece of ****
program I am unable to use. How can I get past this issue and have
communication for office documents on both computers??? PLEASE HELP

Either download the Office 2007 compatibility add-in for office 2003

OR, set the default "save" setting in Office 2007 to be that of 2003...
In Word 2007 for example, click on Office Button (the pizza!), go to Word
Options at the bottom, click on Save and in the drop-down box choose Word
97-2003 option.
Repeat the process for excel and PowerPoint...
