Office 2007 RTM wont install

Just tried to install Office 2007 RTM from MSDN, running setup.exe gives the
following error:

Setup Error: E:\Pror.WW\OSETUP.DLL digital signature does not validate or is
not present.

The setup log file has:
Verify file signature in "E:\Pror.WW\OSETUP.DLL"
"E:\Pror.WW\OSETUP.DLL" signature verify result: 2148098064
Log level changed from: Standard to: Verbose
Failed to verify file signature from the selected setup controller dll in
location "E:\Pror.WW\OSETUP.DLL"
E:\Pror.WW\OSETUP.DLL digital signature does not validate or is not present.

The file on the CD does not appear to have a digital signature.

Are there any updates on Windows Update you don't have installed?
It worked fine here without any problem.
I'd try first to create the CD again (if you made one), or use a tool to
virtually open an ISO.
If that doesn't help, I'd suggest to redownload. However, this might not
work, as MS might be preventing multiple downloads for now so that its
servers can handle the load.

I have the same problem as you have described.

Below is the message I have posted on Microsoft's TechNet
forum..suprise, suprise no reply from them. I should have known
better.

And by the way I purchased the software direct from Microsoft. That is,
these are genuine Microsoft DVDs

I have bought and paid for them on the approved Home Use Program from
Microsoft!
When I try to install either of these programs I get the following
error message:

"F:\visPror.ww\osetup.dll digital signature does not validate or is not
present".
(where F = DVD drive)..
I cannot find anything wrong with my system, I’m running a legitimate
Windows XP with all updates installed (ie. SP1 & SP2).
I find this very disappointing and frustrating.
Why should this happen when one purchases legitimate software from
Microsoft and one cannot then install them.
I have NOT installed any previous versions of Office 12 (incl. BETA
versions) on my machine..
Please provide me with some solution to this problem.
I have noticed that this problem is being experienced by a lot of other
people by the number of postings on the Internet.
No one seems to have a solution!
This should not be happening to Microsoft users..
