After months of working perfectly with Vista (SP1), the "Installing Microsoft
Office 2007 Small Business..." box pops up and runs for a while upon the
opening of any Office application, and thereafter upon selecting certain
major commands (e.g., Send/Receive in Outlook). This happens once for each
instance of that type until the app is closed and reopened...then it starts
over again.
I uninstalled Office, deleted all the registry keys as instructed in the
manual uninstall knowledge base article, and did a clean new install.
Same problem.
In addition, Office 2007 SP2 will not install under any circumstances.
