Office 2007 Spell Check in PowerPoint using UK dictionary not the

I just noticed that the spell checker in PowerPoint 2007 is using the UK
dictionary, it flagged the word "color" and suggested "colour". In Word 2007
and Outlook 2007 "color" is accepted and "colour" is flagged. I thought that
all the office 2007 applications used the same proofing tools. I'm running on
a new Vista Business x64 with Office 2007 Enterprise.

They do but you can set the language of a selection, and you probably have
automatic language detection enabled. Somehow PowerPoint has figured out
that the document you are working with is British. In Word, Review tab,
language button. If you only use one language, select that one here and
uncheck automatic language detection.
