Office 2007: Start page numbering on 4th page? Still #'s 1-3 show

I searched this forum on how to start page numbering from 4th page forward
and not the the title pages 1 - 3. All I saw was insert a new section, then
start your page numbering from the new section.

I did insert a new section which started the numbering for the body
pages 1-25 . . . but, it also inserted page numbers 1 - 3 in the previous
section?

How do I start numbering page one from new section without Word numbering
pages 1 -3 in previous section?

At least in Word 2003, with a new section beginning on page 4, move to
page 4, run the menu command File > Page Setup... to display the Page
Setup dialog, select the Layout tab in that dialog, check the
Different first page checkbox in the Headers and footers section, and
click OK. Then create a header/footer that includes the page number.

That is, I believe you have to use different section headers/footers
and can't just use Insert > Page Numbers... .
